Golang Job: Cloud Development Engineer

Role: Cloud Development Engineer

Location: Remote

Job Type: Fulltime Permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Implement and maintain deployment automation code for new components for our SaaS offering (Terraform, Ansible)

• Extend and optimize the deployment automation framework for our SaaS environments (GoLang)

• Implement and maintain the API for our automated deployment tool

• Manage new deployments, upgrades, and expansions in Cloud using automated tools

• Analyze and address errors or challenges in complex software applications

• Create and deliver software development project goals as defined in the bi-weekly project plan

• Keep team informed about progress and impediments on a regular basis

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as a Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform etc.

• Experience with GoLang

• Knowledge about container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Cloud experience with one of Azure/AWS/GCP

• Experience with development tools like Git, Jenkins, Jira Advantageous:

• Experience in at least one of Bash, Python or other popular languages

• Experience building and operating distributed highly reliable systems

• Familiarity with audio or video applications as a user

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
